Recognition of Omega Performance Courses by Charles Sturt University

As Australia's premier regional university, CSU has strong links with local and national industry to ensure its courses offer students a strong combination of theory and practical experience.

For this initiative, detailed negotiations between the financial services industry, Omega Performance Corporation and Charles Sturt University has resulted in the design of a 'tailored' bankers' curriculum, which specifically incorporates and builds onto the completion of designated Omega modules.

This initiative allows any financial services employee who completes the fourteen Omega modules through the Credit Skills Assessment System, in 'Financial accounting for Lenders' or 'Commercial Loans for Business' strands, to obtain subject credits in CSU courses at undergraduate or postgraduate level.  The program is extremely flexible, and offers multiple exist options with an appropriate university award attached to it.

Successful completion of Omega Modules 1: Financial Accounting for Lenders (FAL) and 2: Commercial Loans to Business (CLB) provides credit for two-thirds of Charles sturt University's Certificate in Banking, or one-half* of Charles Sturt University's Graduate Certificate in Finance.
