Membership

 

AMInstitute has a number of membership classifications, reflecting the wish for involvement of people both inside and outside the credit union industry.

MEMBER

• Employed in a functional area of management in a credit union with decision-making powers that affect the objectives of the credit union.

                Members have voting rights and may stand for election to the Board of AMInstitute.  

PROVISIONAL MEMBER

• Employed in a managerial, trainee managerial or supervisory position in a credit union and who does not meet the requirements for admission as a full member.  

ASSOCIATE

• Employed by a body representing credit unions or a subsidiary or company related to that body in a functional area of management.
• A director of a credit union.

AFFILIATE

• Employed in a managerial position in an organisation conducting business with credit unions
